Old Charter 8 Kentucky Bourbon

Made by the fine folks at Buffalo Trace, this is an unpretentious expression that nonetheless displays some of our favorite bourbon notes. Some call this an “entry level” bourbon, but insiders know of it as a reliable sipper, certain to add real flair to your cocktails but also perfectly comfortable drunk neat. It might not be fancy, but we still find cherry on the nose, baking spices on the palate, and that excellent leather note some other Buffalo Trace bourbons are celebrated for on the finish.
