More out of control government.  Not that the ranchers are totally innocent, but they did their best to do things right.  I truely believe the .gov wants to turn Oregon into a huge national park.  Be interesting to see what the judge says.

So if mom's trash fire gets out of hand, now she's a terrorist.

You know what's really sick?  Probably would have burned anyway.  That's why the were firing the land to begin with to form a fire break.  That's how these boys roll now.  They can't just say, don't do that anymore.  They have to criminalize it and then make it retroactive, after the fact.

When did we become a country of putting people in jail for a mistake?  There was no intent of malice.  My idiot great nephew convicted of terrorist threatening (and I do mean idiot) had more intent of malice and he was joking.  Well I'm certain some libtard somewhere is sitting there going, nobody should eat meat anyway, and applauding this crap.  I just find it sad to watch a way of life disappear.  Teach those cowboys.

It's ridiculous but what is absolutely insane that there are people, civil servants, pushing this whole thing.

Whether 1 tyrant 3,000 miles away or 3,000 tyrants 1 mile away the solution is the same.

WTF?! Just when you thought the BLM couldn't get any worse...

Just goes to show that when they say "terrorist" they mean us.

I know of a young man who almost got charged with constructing an explosive device for making bottle bombs. You know, the type that one might make out of an MRE heater. Federal agents showed up, and then threatened to charge him under the new antiterrorism laws for about a year. Scared the sh!t out of him and his parents.

Misleading header, I was wondering why Ranchers would be charged for burning some "Black Lives Matter"

So the blm makes arrangements to have first option to buy their land if they default on their 400k fine, but then denies their permits to operates. That sounds like a huge ethical issue there and could backfire.

If it was anyone but the federal government doing it they'd probably get brought up on conspiracy charges.

Don't we wish.

Yep, that is what I noticed too. So now, the Feds will do whatever they have to do to make sure the fine is not paid, hence the longer prison sentance. And once the fine is not paid, the Feds will forgive the fine as payment for therancher's property. Free land just like that. All the while the owner sits in prison, his life work ruined, his family torn apart, all because he accidentally burned a measly 150 acres of gubment land.

If that's not conspiracy, I don't know what is. :tf:
