Sweet, someday I might have to break away from all my 1911s being in 45acp. You never know, that Ruger might be ticket.

I would be more excited if I couldn't pick up a delta elite for a similar price range

It is so nice to see more manufacturers adding 10mm models to their lineups.  I would be in for one of these if I did not recently get a 10mm sig 1911 tacops.

Wow!  That fuggin' rocks!  About time Ruger got with the 10mm crowd.  Maybe, in the next decade we'll get a GP-100, or a Redhawk in 10mm.  Probably be able to get these for between $800-$900 bucks.  This one would fit-in nicely with my Dan Wesson, and Kimber.

You can always have GP-100 .357 converted to 10mm.

No thanks, I already have two Smith 610's.  I can't see paying the $600 dollars, above and beyond the price of the original revolver.

It looks like our pushing and asking these companies has prompted them to make some 10's...

It would be nice to see S&W, Springfield, Walther, FN, Beretta, and a few others chamber their polymer guns for the 10mm.

All I can say right now is the Ruger is 100's of dollars less than the new Dan Wessons, SIG's, etc.

Um yeah, find me a S&W 610 and I will buy it right now! Or you could just sell me one of yours?!

I picked up one about two weeks ago and really like it, it is easier shooting than my Delta Elite, I'm sure it is because of the 'bull barrel'. I had a couple of bobbles in the first two mags through the gun but it has been 100% since then for several hundred rounds. What I attributed to a mag problem may well have been a 'new gun break in' problem. I like the wooden double diamond grips better.

These two targets were fired standing at twenty yards as I didn't have a bench. Nine rounds at one target and eight rounds at the other.

Looks plenty accurate at 60 feet without a bench.  I agree, that the wood grips dress the pistol up a little more.  What kind of ammo were you running in the Ruger 10mm?

That was some Power Pistol in Starline brass, Winchester LP primer and one of the 180 gr plated hollow point bullets.

One of those targets was with my Delta Elite and the other one the Ruger 10mm and I didn't mark them and can't remember which is which now. I'm pretty sure the bottom one is the Ruger 10mm.
