I'm looking at doing some loading with a flat base bullet.  Any recommendations?  I would prefer something that is aimed at varmints, mainly coyotes.  Shooter's Pro Shop has some Nosler S.H.O.T.S that are 55 grain.  $30 for 500.  Anyone try them?

They may shoot well but they are not for real high velocity loading. Heck for that price the would be good plinkers. I

I would look at the SPEER TNT 55 Midway has them.

I use the Nosler S.H.O.T.S. 6mm  55 gr. FBSP.

Shoot them in my BHW 6x45mm barreled AR.

They shoot great. Have to keep them in the 3200-3300 fps or so range max.

Thin jackets may cause them to come apart at higher velocities.

These projectiles seem to be made for the 6x45mm cartridge.

Like Greg said, they will make great plinkers at the price.

If you get some, just watch the velocity.

Thanks,

Glenn

Turning 5.56X45 mm brass into 6X45 mm brass one case at a time since April 2014.

6.8 SPC II, That's .270 Lite for those of us in the real world.

M1A Socom 16; Its bark will blow minds, its bite is even worst!

30 Herrett AR; I know 7.62X39 is cheaper... But I already had the 6.8 SPC brass and bolts.
