If somebody pays me $650,000 plus tax. I could build them a car with more then 1150 HP and a quicker 0-60 time. Also faster then 210 MPH.
Isn't that one of the seven signs of the coming apocolypse? Plagues, famine, Noneya buys a gun...

Yes sir you could, still have enough left over for a couple of toys.

Yes, but could your car turn left or right at anything more than a walking pace?

2003 mustang cobra with a Hellion hellraiser turbo kit will put down nearly 1200hp.

Don't make me hurt your feelings! I see what breaks and what doesnt every day. The oil field is a great measuring stick. Let's just say they won't even consider a government motors truck anymore.[emoji6]

You were talking about 2003, before there was such a thing as Government Motors and things were different then.
Historically Ford has produced more ugly junk than any other manufacturer in the U.S., followed closely by Chrysler.

I do not know many people that would try to make a right or left turn at 210 MPH.

You know what if you did? 2 out of 3 wouldn't make it home after wrapping it around a telephone pole.

I'll stick with my 286Hp Jeep Wrangler.....
May not go fast but, I can go almost anywhere...

I just wish so many car makers would please stop making the front end of their cars
look like a fish gasping for air.
If I wanted a jap looking aero kit, I'd get on ebay and buy one.

They build the cars to what people will buy.
Posted Jan. 10 2018 - 02:05 AM
I agree up to a point.
Sometimes they design cars they think people want to buy.
Take your statement and go back through automotive history with it,
and it will make my point.
BMW has taken exceptional cars and turned them
into cars they thought people wanted to buy, and have left Mercedes, Audi, and yes, even
Cadillac producing better handling and executed sports sedans.
The fish face too busy body design will die off, just not soon enough for me.

Part of that is because of laws saying they have to be safer for pedestrians being hit by them...

Serodynamics are a tad different at 100 mph vs 200 mph.

Tell that to Bugatti.
No fish face there.

Imo bugatti looks like it has a butthole in the front.

The point is that fish face is not required for aerodynamic reasons
on a "supercar".
Take a look at some of Ferrari's works of art.
Fish face is a fad, IMHO.
I don't like it, but that is the joy of capitalism.
We don't all have to drive the same State mandated car.
Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder
Fish face is not required for aerodynamics for a high performance or "supercar".
I stand by that. Besides, this car is not the worst offending fish face I have ever seen.
