I plan on eliminating the traditional CH on my right, right dual charge with one of these plugs.  It should eliminate knocking the bark off a knuckle and prevent gas from hitting you in the face .

Holy cow. That Eisenach looks like crap. That appears to be 3D printed too.

Ooooh. I like that. May take the CH off my dual charger.

Yeah I dont quite grasp the dual charge anyway.  The only advantage I see might be if the side charge knob fell off and you lost it.

The barrel nuts on the EMR series are nice and stout.
I quite like the the way ALG designed their proprietary mounting system with the "no-torque" wrench.
The shim system can be hit or miss. Sometimes you have to try different shim combos from what the directions say to get everything to line up right.
I do use AeroShell 33 grease on the threads of the upper and barrel extension when installing the barrel nut. A 12"-14" piece of 1" galv. pipe will be necessary as an extension to the wrench provided. Most hardware stores carry pieces of 1" galv. pipe.
ALG has a good video to show you how to install the EMR rails.
The EMR rails are not to difficult to install. Just take your time and follow the directions.

Thanks,
Glenn

I've installed a couple ALG rails and a large crescent wrench on the end of the barrel nut wrench also works well.

Perhaps I already mentioned it. I managed to acquire a new ALG Defense 13 inch Ergonomic Modular Rail (EMR) V1 M-LOK handguard weeks ago. I just emailed Gibbz to see if I removed the tabs if it would be compatible in a nice and neat fit with their G4 side charger (left side ejection / right side charger). Fall project. About broke and I still have about 400.00 - 500.00 worth of crap to do to my "cheap" pistol.

Probably about 15 minutes turn around:

Gibbz: "It’s possible that it could still fit without modification and you might only need to file a little bit of it.

But worst case scenario, you could file them off and it wouldn’t have an issue."

What I wanted to hear and quick.

It actually ended up being pretty nice.  Kind of a hard rubber and fits nice and tight.  Down side with this type of thing is you have to pull it out each time you clean your rifle cuz the BCG wont cone out.  You gotta take the charge knob off too so its nit a big deal, just another step.

Seems like I received an email lately with that. Maybe Primary Arms, Bear Creek?

That was Primary Arms. Buy a BCA side charging BCG and get a free stripped side charging upper.

They neglected to mention you need to buy a threaded plug to complete the upper.

Good deal though.

Thanks,

Glenn

Turning 5.56X45 mm brass into 6X45 mm brass one case at a time since April 2014.

6.8 SPC II, That's .270 Lite for those of us in the real world.

M1A Socom 16; Its bark blows minds, its bite is even worst!

30 Herrett AR; I know, 7.62X39 is cheaper... But I already had the 6.8 SPC brass and bolts.
