Eh, he's clipped onto the rope/cable with a safety harness. I think he'd be all right, though he'd probably empty his bowels if he actually needed the harness. I know I would.

When I used to climb towers I got blown off of one once, and my safety harness caught me. I didnt crap my pants, but my legs wouldnt stop shaking for a good half hour from the adrenaline. Had to wait to climb down.

I dont know.

Name ANY task that you can do practically in your sleep because you have done it thousands of times.

Thats all he is doing. Hes gotten so good at it that its second nature. No different than something you do in your everyday life. Take driving in the city for example. Take some native from the jungle and stand them next to a 12 lane superhighway with thousands of cars driving 80 MPH in opposite directions. He will say you are absolutely out of your mind!!!!

Its all just relative to what your used to doing and skilled at.

Then top it off with the fact that hes wearing a harness.......

Just another day at the office for some.

Not me though. That would take some serious training.

When I was in my teens and early 20's, I had no fear, even of heights. Nothing bothered me at all. I've climbed radio towers, buildings, etc, without a care in the world. I was 24 when I first had to get out of a man lift, 80 feet up to get on the ladder of a fly ash tower at a concrete batch plant to sandblast and paint it, as I climbed all the way to the top, which was at 125 feet. No harness, just stupidity. There were migrating ducks that flew by, even with how high I was standing when on top of that tower. I dropped one of my paint gun's aluminum cups, and I watched it all the way down. My helper almost had to pry me off that fly ash tower, my fingerprints are still probably in one of the hatches, because that's when my fear of heights took over.
