2023 Tequila Tasting Kit – 4 Anejo Expressions from Tequila De La Gente

The tasting experience in a box built for friends and family. Rate the top 4 añejos in our 2023 selection. Then submit your votes to determine the people’s favorite. It truly is Tequila De La Gente. The expression with the most votes will launch in a full-size bottle in late 2023.

We wanted to create a tequila that we enjoyed sipping like we do bourbon or whiskey.  But the shopping experience that it took to find our favorite was expensive, confusing, and misleading and left us frustrated. So we went to the source to create our own sipping tequila. That led to a new problem, if we just chose our favorite, it will leave you in the same position we were in.

We decided to do something that has never been done. We want to involve you in the selection process to help pick the sipping tequila we launch. So, truly, your vote matters, lets pick a tequila for the people…Tequila De La Gente.

We’ve started with over 30 expressions and narrowed them down to the top 4. We had to create our own rating system to help us get this far. We made some modifications and opened up the rating system for you to use. You don’t have to be an expert, it’s great for all types of drinkers…

• Something for the bourbon and whiskey sippers
• Something for people with bad college experiences
• Something for rum drinkers

Once you receive your tasting kit, scan the QR code on the box. We’ll guide you through the tasting process to make sure you have a great experience and submit your votes. 

All the Anejos have been aged in Jack Daniel’s barrels ranging from 12-16 months. We worked with a 3rd generation master taster to help us design the expressions.

We use 3 variables to create these expressions:

1. Aging Time
2. Oxygen
3. Filtration

Everyone in your tasting group can submit a vote. After all the votes are in, we’ll launch with a full-size bottle in 2023 of the people’s favorite…a tequila for the people by the people.
