Archillee say that “the grapes come from the Scherwiller plain, on gravelly soil. Direct pressing, fermentation took a long time and the wine spent a lot of time in vats.
When we bottled it, there was still a little residual sugar, so we added carbon dioxide and a screw cap to protect it from fermenting again.

We continued maturing it in bottle, and 5 years later, we found a dry Riesling with incredible tension and minerality. There’s a hint of perlance when you open the bottle, which brings a lot of freshness. If it bothers you, don’t hesitate to decant and the perlance will go away on its own 🙂 This is a high-quality Riesling! “
