Akashi Mesei Whisky 0.5l is part of the blended whisky category, it is powerful and has a melting yet creamy texture; it was created specifically for the foreign market. It is produced by the White Oak Distillery in Japan, more precisely in Hyogo. It is made from a pleasant combination of grain and single malt, 45% of which have been aged for 4-5 years in small American oak barrels. This particular and unique spirit, known as “Japanese blended whisky” has a light golden amber color with bright reflections. It has a deep, soft, sweet, dry and velvety personality, with notes of powdered sugar, vanilla, barley malt and a floral undertone.
