The Balvenie Stories collection brings to life the tales of character, endeavour and craft of those at through the generations.

Inspired to produce an even fruitier, sweeter Balvenie, apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie had the bright idea to import Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky. After deep toasting them at The Balvenie Cooperage they were filled with Balvenie aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a delectably complex with a myriad of flavours.

• The nose on this offers a tantalising blend of sweet fudge and citrusy notes
• Complemented by the warmth of oak vanilla and layers of spicy ginger and cinnamon
• On the palate, indulge in the vibrant flavours of candied orange, lemon peel, vanilla toffee, and butterscotch
• Intertwined with the sweetness of blossom honey and melted brown sugar
• Subtle oak spices add depth and complexity to the taste
• The finish is rich and malty, with gentle waves of oak vanilla and delicate spices lingering on the palate
