Borough Bourbon Batch 03 is the product of a female-owned distillery, Republic Restoratives in Washington, D.C. Borough is a limited series of straight bourbons finished in rare casks.
Batch No. 03 is a five-year-old, high-rye bourbon that was rested in fifty-year-old Armagnac casks. The nose carries notes of toffee, warm leather, and candied citrus. The palate delights with praline, baking spice, and crème brûlée. Its finish is long and layered, with hints of vanilla, dried fruits, and caramel.
