Butchers Bourbon 12 Year Old

Tennessee’s Thunder Road Distillery pays homage to the bootleggers of Appalachia’s past in this nicely matured single-barrel offering. Thunder Road Distillery is named for the classic film of the same name, in homage to the bootleg distillers of years past. Their bourbon is a single-barrel offering, aged for 12 years to allow for full maturation of the nose and palate, creating a complex whiskey with hints of leather and a strong vanilla flavor. The finish is unusually long and smooth, with just the barest hint of smokey birchwood.
