Cavit Quattro Vicariati Rosso Superiore 2021

Still red wine from Trentino DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Cavit, a historic cooperative that represents 65% of Trentino’s wine production. Blend: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot. Vintage: 2021. The grapes come from the hillsides along the Adige River. Aged in barriques and small oak barrels for 18 months. Notes of balsamic, plum, blackberry, and tobacco. Bright ruby red color. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced: soft with fine tannins, spicy and enveloping on the finish.
