President and Master Distiller, Francesco ‘Ciccio’ Amodeo, began his journey in the hospitality industry. Managing some of the most prestigious culinary establishments in Washington D.C., he decided to step away from the hospitality industry to embark on his true passion, artisanal liqueur making. Following in the footsteps of his Great-Grandfather & Grandfather, he invested his time and energy into creating his artisanal ‘Rosoli’ and Amari line giving way to the birth of Don Ciccio & Figli in Washington D.C. Amaro delle Sirene was last produced in 1931 in Atrani, (Amalfi Coast) by the Monpigar, one of the leading factories in the early 1900’s.
It is a reddish, tobacco color, notes of eucalyptus, cooked ripe fruit , liquorice and scents of gentian rhubarb. Look forward to dry, bitter, warm notes of anice and coffee.
