El Jolgorio Mezcal Tepeztate 750ML

Crafted from massive agave, harvested at over 25 years of age, Tepeztate grows at high elevation and loves to struggle. It is not uncommon to look up when driving through the Oaxacan mountains to find a huge Tepeztate jutting directly out of a mountain face, or upside down on a boulder. Known in Zapotec as Du Cual, a reference to the twisted shape of its leaves, this powerfully aromatic agave delivers bright, green and floral mezcal which belies its long age and low sugar concentration.
