Pomino DOC sweet white passito, 14.5% ABV, produced by Castello Pomino – Frescobaldi in Tuscany. Blend of Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano Toscano. 0.375 l bottle, 2018 vintage. A Vin Santo born from the history of Castello Pomino, a hidden gem among the Frescobaldi estates, with vines that climb to an altitude of 700 meters. Notes of dried fruit are the first to emerge: walnut, hazelnut, almond, apricot, raisin, and fig. From these, a crescendo of sensations develops, from the sweetness of honey and vanilla to roasted notes and gingerbread. Amber with golden highlights. On the palate, the sweetness balances beautifully with the freshness. The finish is extremely long and warm.
