Still red Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Giovanni Rosso in Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont. A Barolo that embodies the history and passion of a family that has cultivated the most prestigious crus of Serralunga d’Alba for over 100 years. Fermentation in concrete tanks. Aged in 50-hl French oak barrels (18 to 36 months depending on the vintage and vineyard). Deep ruby red. Clear bouquet; floral notes, hints of cherries preserved in alcohol, star anise, dried leaves, violets, and mulberry. Fine and elegant body; impeccable palate development, with balanced tannins and a long finish.
