Glendronach Scotch Single Malt 15 Year Tawny Port Finished

The GlenDronach Tawny Port Wood Finish expression was initially matured in European oak and thereafter finished its maturation in a very small batch of Tawny Port barrels, which have given the whisky its own unique flavours and aromas. This wood finish has been released in 2011. 46% ABV

One of the keys to this whisky’s popularity, is also the fact that it was closed from 1996 to 2001, resulting in the distillery having to use some significantly older product than what you would normally expect based on the age statement.
