Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Glenfiddich is one of only a few distilleries in Scotland still owned and managed by the founding family, and their legacy shows in each bottle. This very rare single malt is created from carefully selected casks that have been aging in their warehouse for a minimum of 40 years, mixed with the remnants of previous 40 year vattings for consistency. The color after such a long time spent in oak is a dark brown, nearly mahogany, and the spirit is remarkably full bodied. Beautiful notes of black cherry and tobacco mingle with mild smoke flavor and leather, creating an exquisite mature bottle.
