Mexicans have been infusing Mezcal with botanicals for centuries, but very rarely are the resulting spirits packaged for export. Gracias a Dios is one of the few to be infused with botanicals typically used to make gin and the only such spirit currently being imported to the US. It is an espadín agave mezcal infused with 32 different botanicals and spices, many of which are indigenous to Oaxaca. Juniper comes through clearly, but so do notes of sage, wildflower, citrus, passionfruit, bougainvillea, and roasted pineapple. A truly unique and delicious spirit.
