Here, Riesling grapes are grown on Slate soils giving nice elements of minerality to the wine. To give some complexity, 15-20% of the grapes were late harvested, with ‘Noble Rot’ botrytis coming into play.

The Kestrel is on the label thanks to the bird often seen around the vineyards here.
