Crafted at the hands of Operational Detachment Alpha Team 595, Horse Soldier Commander’s Select 12-year old Bourbon is a culmination of masterful distilling from courageous souls. Aged a minimum of 12 years in new American white oak barrels, this award-winning whiskey is composed of an undisclosed mash bill containing red winter wheat and is a blend of ultra-premium bourbon from the oldest barrels of American Freedom Distillery’s signature stock. HSC Select 12 is finished to a barrel strength of 97% proof and offers a nose sweet with caramel and honey over slivers of wood frosted in butterscotch, cashew toffee and raisins. The mouth enjoys hits of caramel, apples, oak and citrus melting into rich leather.
