Menu Pineau 2019 by is made in Loire with grapes.
This is the rather rare grape ‘Menu Pineau’. First time trying it, very nice indeed. Kinda like a chenin blanc in style. Sour apple candy, wet stone minerality and white flowers Jean-Christophe Jeyequel grows his grapes on 5 hectares of land featuring soils of clay, sand, and silex over limestone, which are in Faverolles-sur-Cher in the heart of the Tourraine appelation.
