Macabeuh 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Grégoire Perron of , in the AIN region in . This white wine (with a little maceration) is made with grapes, hence the name, even if spelt a little different!
How is Macabeuh made?
Here, La Combe Aux Reves purchases Negoce grapes and made this blend with 75% Macabeu and 25% Grenache Gris & Grenache Blanc.
The wine sits on the skins for 10 days of maceration after pressing before aging in concrete tanks for around 12 months. It was then bottled without any added sulphites in October 2023.
Expect stone fruits and honeyed touches with a mineral edge
