Roero Riserva La Val dei Preti, an organic still red from Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, produced by Matteo Correggia, 2022 vintage. A wine born from a passion for Nebbiolo, grown in a unique terroir and enhanced by meticulous winemaking. A solemn nose, amidst salty gusts and balsamic breezes, reveals hints of violet and lavender, black cherry in alcohol, wild berry jam, oriental spices, and cocoa, currently dominating over a more subtle tertiary finish. A deep ruby-garnet color with sanguine highlights. The palate is generous and fresh, almost sensual, thanks to the pulpy fruitiness and caressing velvety tannins, lingering on a markedly savory finish.
