Kinda new to Natural Wine and want us to pick some gems for you that are more on the affordable side?
Here are three bottles we think show a good variety of how different Natural Wines can be, which we feel everyone will appreciate:
We really like the Weisser Mulatschak 2023 by Meinklang as its a SERIOUSLY impressive orange wine for the incredible low price point.
Delicious blend of Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder) and Welschriesling. Weißer Mulatschak is an easy going skin contact wine with that unique, aromatic twang of Gewürztraminer, but less intense than a full-on Gewürztraminer wine. Peachy, strawberry yogurt and clementine fruit elements make this a real winner!
Rubra Mixtura is a natural red wine crafted by Dluhe Grefty, in the Moravia region in Czech Republic. This red wine is made with Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and St. Laurent grapes.
Easy going, yet interesting and rich at the same time, this wine is fruit-forward but also has a subtle & mild earthy presence in the background. Made in a carbonic way, the tannins are barely present and this wine is about fun & freshness! Excellent value!
Voria Orange by Porta Del Vento is a fun, pet nat wine made in Sicily with Catarratto and Grillo grapes.
This is a fun, affordable no-fuss orange pet nat. We describe it as like “Adult Fanta”! So easy to drink and with a distinctive orange peel note.
