Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Pineau De Charentes Coastal Series 92 750ml

A limited release from this Northern Highlands distiller that’s finished in pineau des Charentes casks. Flavors of lime and lots of dry minerality and salinity on the nose, in keeping with the house style. But the unusual palate is tropical, rich, and viscous, with citrus notes and generous spice. The finish is long, smooth, and chocolaty, offering more citrus. Overall, this one presents a well-integrated array of flavors and excellent balance.
