Patrick Bouju – Niglo 2022

Niglo is a natural wine crafted by , which is vinified in the Auvergne region in and made with 100% grapes.

Niglo means Hedgehog in Romani. This wine is a bit agricultural on the nose at first and then develops into more complex, foresty notes which are also present on the palate.

This wine is very juicy, glou glou but also has a perfumed, smokey, herbal almost gently-pronounced complexity behind it.

Not sure we would guess it as a Beaujolais Gamay at first! Really cool wine!!
