Pépin – Pépin Blanc

Pépin Blanc is a natural wine crafted by , in the Alsace region in . This white wine is made with , , , Muscat,  and Gewürztraminer grapes, which are grown on clay & limestone soils before being pressed directly and aged in stainless steels tanks on the fine lees.

The Pépin Blanc is focused on minerality, acidity & salinity so works great paired with ceviches, grilled fish and citrus desserts. 

The color is clear with intense golden hues. Pépin Blanc is lively, dry and has good drinkability. A scent of overripe peach, slightly stewed lemon, hazelnuts, plums and apricot. Delightfully juicy and easy going with a mild tropical mouthfeel.

What is the Pépin wine project?

Pépin wine is a new style of collaborative winery, formed by Jean & Pierre 

Dietrich of esteemed in Scherwiller, Alsace, as well as wine consultants

Xavier Couturier and Pierre Sanchez of Duo Oenologie. The group work with local growers in Alsace to produce the Pépin range which stands for making no-added sulphite, vibrant and affordable natural wines which are sustainable and reward the growers in compensation very fairly too.
