A still organic red wine from Tuscany, 14% ABV, produced by Petrolo. Made from 100% Merlot, this wine embodies the elegance of the Valdarno di Sopra region. Petrolo’s history dates back to 1947, with a production of 85,000 bottles. The nose is expansive and explosive, particularly fresh, lively, and fruity, with hints of black cherries, chocolate, floral notes, smoke, and spices. The color is a very vibrant, dark ruby red. The palate is dominated by very soft, refined, and balanced tannins, leaving a lovely sensation of freshness and remarkable persistence. A perfect wine to accompany red meats, game, and aged cheeses, ideal for an important dinner.
