Ramey Russian River Chardonnay

A classic California wine that bucks the traditional, oaky/buttery notions of California Chardonnay. Very clearly inspired by Burgundy and with similar aspirations for longevity. Broad and complex with a dry, savoury finish. Vibrant and still youthful. Very long and throbbing with vitality on the finish — quite an achievement somewhere as warm as most of Russian River.
