Smoke Wagon Uncut, The Younger

The journey to create Uncut the Younger began when Founder, Aaron Chepenik, realized he wanted to offer a more accessible cask-strength bourbon that could be one of their core expressions and a high-proof lover’s daily sipper.  Also, he wanted the Straight to have a cask-strength sibling, just like Small Batch has Uncut Unfiltered.

 A year and a half later – Uncut the Younger, their second expression in the entry-level category is finally here. Consisting mainly of 4-year, 36% rye bourbon from several floors and warehouse locations, it’s blended to be fruit-forward, with tons of candy flavor notes, with some bold cinnamon spice and gentle heat on the finish. It’s non-chill-filtered, hence, is buttery and creamy, drinking more delicately than one would think based on its proof.
