Tenute Lunelli Solenida di Podernovo Costa Toscana Sangiovese 2017

Costa Toscana IGT organic still red wine, 15% ABV, produced by Tenute Lunelli – Tenuta Podernovo. 100% Sangiovese. 0.75 l bottle, 2017 vintage. A Sangiovese produced on the Tenuta Podernovo estate, in the Pisan hills, where the unique geographical position and the soil composition, rich in sand and fossil deposits, create the microclimate and optimal conditions for growing vines. The grapes come mostly from hand-selected varieties from the old vineyard present at Podernovo since the 1980s. Vinification in steel vats with cold pre-maceration at 12°C for 36 hours. Maceration in steel lasts approximately 3 weeks to slowly extract the finest color and tannins. Aged in oak barrels and casks, partly French and partly Slavonian, for 24 months, followed by 24 months in bottle.
