We continue to blend multiple red grape varieties grown in California’s North Coast viticultural area to create a proprietary blend. Those of you that have followed this wine the last 10 years, know that we not only blend multiple grape varieties, but we also blend multiple vintages to build depth in the finished wine. Hence, this has always been a lot release not a vintage dated wine. Lot 10 is a dark purple in color and medium bodied, aromas of violets and plum give way to rich flavors of boysenberry and pomegranate closing with hints of vanilla and oak. Dry tea like tannins show up mid-palate and juicy acidity closes the finish.
