Two James Grass Widow Bourbon

Two James Distillery is the first distillery to open in Detroit since Prohibition. Known for their wheated bourbons and beautiful bottles, Grass Widow is a special limited release bottling from them. With the help of former Maker’s Mark Distiller Dave Pickerell, the folks at Two James have produced a bourbon that features a high Rye mashbill (36% rye), with a distinct peppery spice to it. But it’s finished in Madeira casks sourced directly from Portugal to balance the spice with the sweetness of Madeira, a fortified wine. Limited Release, low availability, so cherish this one.
