Deep and dark on the nose, with notes of blueberry juice, iris, undergrowth, damp earth, cinchona, a hint of licorice, and sweet tobacco. Deep ruby red. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, the freshness and smoothness of these harmonious components combine beautifully. Round tannins and a long, fruity finish.
