Palmentino Rosso 2022 is a natural wine crafted by , in the Sicily region in . This red wine is made with , , , , and grapes.
This wine is produced in a Palmento (a traditional building dug into the earth, similar to a wine cellar) in three different batches: the first is a 5-day maceration, during which the skins are crushed with hands and feet; the second is a 100-day maceration in a Georgian qvevri, and the last is fermented and aged in a used oak barrel. The cuvees are then combined and aged on the lees for a year before bottling.
What a lovely wine! Expect notes of cherry and strawberry, with soft tannins and a lively acidity with that mineralic edge Light yet more than a glou glou wine.
