The 2022 harvest began on August 25th, about a week earlier than the historical average. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration last 25 days at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C in stainless steel and concrete vats. Aged for 14-16 months in barriques, tonneaux, and large oak barrels, and 12 months in bottle. A riot of warm notes of wild berries and mulberry, peony, cola, cured tobacco, and sweet spices. Bright ruby color. Sinuous mouthfeel and tapered tannins anticipate a long finish with smoky tones.
