Luigi Baudana Barolo Cerretta 2017

Still red Barolo DOCG, 15% ABV, produced by Luigi Baudana (Vajra). 0.75 L bottle, 2017 vintage. A Barolo from Serralunga d’Alba, an expression of the terroir and the passion of the Baudana family, now entrusted to Vajra. Fermentation takes place primarily in large barrels, with a second submerged cap phase in the best vintages. Aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries emerge elegantly from the glass, enriched by notes of menthol and leather. A deep, vibrant ruby color, shifting to garnet at the rim. The palate is broad and refined, with elegant tannins and a great structure, balanced by a fresh acidity.
