Palmento Costanzo Contrada Santo Spirito 2019

Organic still red wine from Etna DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Palmento Costanzo. Blend: 90% Nerello Mascalese, 10% Nerello Cappuccio. 0.75L bottle, 2019 vintage. A wine that expresses the power of the volcano through the passion of a winery that cultivates its vines at 720 meters above sea level. Fermentation in truncated cone-shaped oak vats with indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is carried out entirely. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (Ovum) and 18 months in bottle. A broad and deep bouquet with notes of morello cherry in alcohol, black cherry, and tomato leaf that blend with notes of black pepper and sweet tobacco. A vibrant ruby red color with garnet hues. On the palate, it has an excellent velvety structure, with soft tannins and woody notes.
