Palli & Genesià by is a natural wine made in Samos with grapes.
Sous le Végétal is a collaborative wine project by Jason Ligas and Patrick Bouju. The aim is to highlight rare grape varietals & different expressions of the grape ‘Muscat Blanc á Petits Grains’ featuring different slopes, terroir and wine production methods.
The wines are grown and made on the Greek island of Samos, located close to Turkey.
Grapes are taken trom one plot on the slopes of mount Karvounis, which is made with pink granite soil. The grapes are macerated on the skins for 40 days and then aged in amphora. This is an orange wine.
We have not tried this wine but heard it has more volatile acidity than the others, so will appeal more to winelovers who enjoy that.
