Werlitsch’s Ex-Vero are rather legendary in the finer world of natural wine.

Composed of Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay (known locally in the Steiermark region, aka Styria, as ‘Morillon’), the Ex Vero range is divided into regions on the Werlitsch slopes. Ex Vero | is taken from the lower slopes, Ex Vero || from the middle and Ex Vero ||| from the top, featuring rougher and more rocky Opok soils.

2017 vintage (without Residual Sugar): Wow! So much energy in this white wine which will zip across your whole mouth like electricity. Fantastic acidity, with delightful Sauvignon notes shining alongside that mildly creamy finish, but Sauvignon shines through here. Excellent winemaking!
